The coronavirus pandemic is affecting the entire world, and Ukraine, of course, is no exception. In these trying times, it is very important that everybody pulls together in the fight to stop the virus.
Lviv IT cluster – a community of information technology companies – has launched a United in Health program in the attempt to help stop the spread of COVID-19 in Lviv and Lviv region. Many companies are participating in the program. We at Forbytes could not stand aside and joined our colleagues as well.
We care deeply about the wellbeing of our team and do what we can to help fight this pandemic. So, it was a no-brainer for us to join the United in Health program when we found out about it. Also, we strictly follow the rules of the quarantine by encouraging our employees to work from home and offering them support if needed.

In the first stage of this program, we pulled together our resources with other companies to quickly obtain means to detect potential COVID-19 cases. In less than 2 weeks the program acquired 20,000 express tests and directed them to the Department of Health in Lviv Regional State Administration. 45 crews were dispatched in Lviv and Lviv region in the first week. Over 2000 people were tested, 15 of which tested positive for COVID-19 and were immediately referred to take PCR tests.
