Arranging furniture for Swedish homes
It was still a family business in 2012 when the decision was made to partner with Forbytes. It has since expanded and offers its goods to all of Scandinavia, through both online and physical stores. There are now four businesses that operate under the Trademax group:
These businesses all operate off a bespoke platform built in collaboration with Forbytes.
CTO of Trademax
"We chose Forbytes as our software development partner due to their excellent service and commitment. Forbytes helps us with UX, front-end development and back-end development."
A comfortable e-commerce solution
Trademax's idea to provide affordable furniture by avoiding intermediates turned out to be a solid plan. However, in order to reach all of Sweden physical stores alone would not be enough. The Trademax team realized that the most efficient way to reach the entire country was to invest in an e-commerce store. However, since they did not have the needed software expertise in house Trademax needed to outsource to find reliable developers to develop and maintain a bespoke e-commerce solution for them.
In 2012 Trademax became Forbytes' client-partner and we began the process of setting up and maintaining their e-commerce site. Behind the scenes the Forbytes team takes care of system architecture, user experience, requirements development and management, QA testing, front- and backend development, project management and portfolio planning.
While working closely with the CTO of Trademax our developers have implemented a governance structure that gives Trademax's senior management full control of the software. It also ensures that the senior management is kept informed of delivery dates and other important issues that might affect the business.
A positive experience for all
The user experience is one of the most important aspects of any software. The interface must be easy to navigate and the faster a new user understands how it works the better. Because of this Forbytes has dedicated personnel working on the user experience for both the end customers as well as the employees. This way we can ensure that the business operational staff in sales, marketing, customer service, and finance have the digital tools and features they need to do their work as efficiently as possible.
Shopping made safe, quick and easy
The store itself has a range of elements implemented to provide the best shopping experience possible. The comprehensive product catalogue, easy navigation, and the quick search box help customers to easily find what they are looking for. The store is also able to recommend products based on previously viewed items. Once an order is placed a secure payment gateway ensures that credit card information is handled safely.
Due to the integration between different systems and physical locations the e-stores enjoy a seamless flow of information. Sales, purchases, and orders are fully automated, and this allows products to be delivered within a few days.
