Client security is the most important thing for your eCommerce store. And there is no better way of securing your clients than keeping your website up-to-date.
Magento has recently released a security patch for Magento 2.3.1 and 2.3.2. If your website is running on one of those versions you should apply the patch right away.
This patch will protect your website from a recently-discovered vulnerability in Magento versions before 2.3.3. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated users to insert and execute malicious payloads on your website. These can be harmful in many ways, from stealing personal data to downloading or modifying files and even running various background processes.
You can download patches for both versions from your account on magento.com.
Install the corresponding patch first, then schedule an update to Magento 2.3.3 as soon as possible. Afterward, review your website and servers for any signs of a possible attack.
Note! Even if you are already running on Magento 2.3.3 or have applied the security patch, it is still highly recommended to review your website, since it may have been compromised before the upgrade.
